Vehicle Wrapping
Pretoria
Change the colour.
Keep the paint.
Full colour change wraps in matt, satin and gloss, fitted in 3M, Avery Dennison, KPMF, Teckwrap and Hexis cast film at our N4 Gateway workshop. Reversible, warranted, and finished edge to edge.
Your Paint, Reinvented
A vehicle wrap is a layer of cast vinyl film applied over a car’s factory paint to change its colour or finish. Imagine Graffix fits full colour change wraps in Pretoria using 3M, Avery Dennison, KPMF, Teckwrap and Hexis film only.
A wrap is fully reversible — it protects the original paint underneath and removes cleanly when you’re ready for a change. No sanding, no overspray, no permanent alteration to your vehicle.
Your car stays in our indoor N4 Gateway workshop from start to finish. Every panel is surface prepped and cleaned properly before we start the wrap. In most cases we remove the handles, wing mirrors and trimmings to install the wrap clean and professional. Design, print and installation all happen under one roof.

Wrap vs Respray
Why more owners in Pretoria are choosing a colour change wrap over a traditional respray. The numbers speak for themselves.
Prices are indicative for Pretoria, 2025–2026. Your exact quote depends on vehicle size, panel complexity and the finish you choose. A wrap costs less, protects more, and is completely reversible.
The Detail Separates a Good Wrap
From a Great One
A side-on photo doesn’t tell you how the edges were finished. These do. Every panel is removed where appropriate, cleaned, wrapped edge to edge, and inspected — not cut on the car.

Door Handles
Handles removed where required and film tucked underneath, not cut around them.

Mirror Caps
Wrapped as a single seamless piece on compound curves — no seams across the mirror face.

Panel Edges
Film wrapped around and into shut lines so the factory colour never shows at the door edge.

Fuel Flap
Wrapped separately and flush-fit. A rushed fuel flap is the first thing you notice — ours won’t be.
From Bakkies to Boats
Big or small, road or water — if it’s got a panel, we can wrap it. These are the vehicles we work on most in Pretoria and across Gauteng.

Bakkies & Double Cabs
Hilux GR, Ranger, Amarok, Land Cruiser — the vehicles we wrap most often. Full colour change from roof to tailgate.

SUVs & 4x4s
Fortuner, Defender, Range Rover and similar. Large panels, big visual impact.

Sedans & Hatchbacks
Golf, Audi, BMW and more. Tight curves, compound panels — precision fitting on every line.

Performance & Luxury
Supercar and luxury wraps in satin, chrome and carbon finishes. This is the work we show off.

Boats & Jet Skis
Hull wraps in marine-grade film. Colour change or full custom print, applied in our workshop.

Motorcycles
Tank, fairing and helmet wraps. Custom MX graphic kits printed and couriered nationwide.

Wrapped Edge to Edge
Vinyl is laid, squeegeed, heat-set and tucked. Every edge is finished into the shut lines — nothing is cut on the car.
Inspection & Aftercare
Your vehicle is inspected under workshop lighting. You receive an aftercare guide, warranty docs and a walkthrough on how to maintain it.
Keep It Looking New
A wrapped car needs different care to painted paint. Follow these rules and your wrap will look showroom-fresh for years. No washing for the first 7 days, and a full wrap checkup is included to make sure the wrap is still sitting right.
Ask us anything about wrap careHand wash only for the first 7 days. After that, hand wash or touchless automatic. No brush car washes — they catch edges.
Avoid high-pressure washers directly on panel edges, mirror seams and door shuts. Keep the nozzle at least 30 cm away.
No abrasive polish, cutting compound or wax with petroleum distillates. Use a wrap-safe sealant for extra gloss and UV protection.
Park under cover where possible. South African sun is tough on any surface — a carport or shade adds years to a wrap.
Remove bird droppings, tree sap and fuel spills immediately. They can etch the laminate if left to bake on.
Wrapping Answered
Straight answers to the questions every car owner asks before a colour change wrap. No jargon, no fluff.
A full colour change wrap at Imagine Graffix starts from approximately R18 000 for a hatchback, R22 000 for a sedan, and R25 000 for a double cab or SUV, depending on the finish and vehicle condition. We quote per vehicle after seeing photos — every quote is fixed, not an estimate.
A full colour change takes 3 to 5 working days at Imagine Graffix. Partial wraps and roof wraps are usually completed in 1 to 2 days. We book your slot in advance so the vehicle goes straight into the workshop and stays there until it is finished.
A wrap in premium cast film — which is the only type we use — lasts 5 to 7 years in South African conditions when cared for correctly. Horizontal panels facing direct sun may show wear earlier. We supply an aftercare guide and warranty documentation with every wrap.
No. A wrap applied to sound factory paint protects it from UV, stone chips and light scratches, and removes cleanly when removed professionally. Paint that is already flaking, resprayed or poorly repaired may lift on removal, which is why we inspect the vehicle before quoting.
Yes — significantly. A wrap at Imagine Graffix starts from approximately R18 000 against roughly R35 000 to R60 000 for a quality respray of comparable finish. And the wrap is reversible. The original paint stays intact underneath.
Yes. Imagine Graffix fits matt, satin and gloss finishes in a wide colour range, and can print a fully custom design in house — patterns, gradients, brand liveries and artwork are all possible. If you can imagine it, our large-format printer can produce it.
Yes. A colour change should be declared to your insurer so your cover stays valid. In South Africa a permanent colour change is also notifiable on the vehicle registration. We tell you what applies to your job when you collect the vehicle.
Not when it is fitted properly. We remove handles and trim where needed, wrap film into the shut lines and heat-set every edge. A wrap that peels was cut on the car or under-stretched — both of which we do not do.
Yes. Partial wraps — roof, bonnet, mirrors, pillars, side stripes — are common and cost considerably less than a full colour change. Send us a photo of your car and tell us what you have in mind.
Yes. Imagine Graffix wraps boats and jet skis in marine-grade film. Full colour change or full custom print, applied in our indoor workshop.
Only 3M, Avery Dennison, KPMF, Teckwrap and Hexis. These are the five premium cast-film manufacturers trusted globally for vehicle wraps. We never use unbranded or monomeric vinyl — it shrinks, cracks and damages paint on removal.

Add Paint Protection Film
PPF over high-impact areas — bonnet, bumper, mirror caps and door sills — stops stone chips from reaching the wrap and the paint underneath. One booking for both: wrap the colour, PPF the impact zones.
